A few useful answers

How do I restore a purchase?

In Fuyasu, open Settings → Fuyasu Plus → Restore purchases. Use the App Store account that made the purchase. You can also restore purchases from onboarding.

This restores paid access on iOS. To recover vocabulary and study history, restore a progress backup separately. If restoration fails, check your connection and retry.

How do I move my progress to a new phone?

On the old installation, open Settings → Backup & restore → Save a backup. Save the file somewhere you can access on the new phone.

On the new installation, choose Restore an existing library during onboarding, or use Backup & restore in Settings. Review the incoming library before replacing it. There is no automatic account sync. Backups are unencrypted, so store them privately.

How do I cancel a subscription or request a refund?

Use Manage subscription under Settings → Fuyasu Plus, or open your Apple Account’s subscription settings. Deleting or resetting Fuyasu does not cancel a subscription. Access normally continues to the end of the paid period, subject to Apple’s purchase status.

For a refund, use Apple’s refund request process. Apple handles payments and refund decisions.

What happens if Plus access ends?

Your progress, collection choices and saved vocabulary remain on your device. Plus-only study content pauses. Essential Japanese and words in your active Saved words collection remain available. If Plus access returns, your saved progress resumes.

What does lifetime include?

Lifetime is a single payment for the on-device Plus library and personal collection features, including future updates to those features and content. It has no recurring charge. It does not promise separately priced future online services or Android ownership.

If you already subscribe, Fuyasu hides additional checkout options to avoid accidental double payment. Contact support before changing to lifetime; buying another product does not itself cancel a subscription.

Can I reset my library?

Yes. Save a backup first, then use the reset control in Settings. Reset removes your local profile, preferences, progress, reviews and collection state, and returns to onboarding.

The old library is saved as Previous library. The next reset or restore replaces that recovery copy. To recover it, save it as a backup file and then select that file for restore. Reset does not cancel purchases or delete exported backups.

Why can’t I hear pronunciation?

Check media volume and your audio output, including connected headphones. Then open Settings → Sources & pronunciation to check Japanese voice availability. Fuyasu uses your device’s Japanese voice and does not need microphone access.

Are the collections complete JLPT lists?

No. JLPT levels are approximate study guidance, and the curated collections are growing selections. The bundled English JMdict dictionary is much broader; dictionary-only entries may have no original example or study level. The dictionary and its licence are credited in Settings → Sources & pronunciation.

Does my purchase cover Android?

The initial release is for iOS. Purchases restore with the same App Store account on iOS; Android access is not included. Your progress backup is separate from your purchase and remains yours to keep.
